Summary:

Your role in our mission:

Essential Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, validate, and deploy
Predictive Analytics/Machine Learning (ML) /Statistical models as part of new product development and/or projects.
Work closely with senior data scientists and engineers to deploy models to production both in batch and realtime.
Build data sets from multiple data sources and write data flows using Python and R, SQL/Spark.
Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Kibana, Zeppelin) to share ongoing insights.
Present findings to technical audiences.
Stay uptodate on ML, Big Data technologies sharing learnings with the teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to translate business customer problems and questions into clear requirements for analysis.
Ability to write complex and efficient SQL code freehand from scratch.
Ability to wrangle and analyze data using Python or R.
Strong understanding of statistics and probability.
Proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Outlook and Word.
Ability to work under pressure while managing competing demands and deadlines.
Well organized with meticulous attention to detail.
Good understanding of Agile methodology.
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
Exceptional problemsolving abilities with an understanding of statistical methods.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and especially the ability to communicate data clearly to clients.
Accuracy with work, strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Experience with machine learning is a plus.

What we're looking for:

Minimum Related Work Experience:

12 years of industry experience in
Data Science/Machine Learning developing, testing, validating, and/or deploying ML models with business impact. Examples of models include, but are not limited, to Linear/Non-Linear/Logistic/Ridge regression, SVMs, NNs, Decision Trees, Ensemble modeling, Text Mining; exposure to Timeseries analysis and forecasting algorithms is a strong plus.
12 year's handson, industry experience with
big data and languages such as e

g SQL, Python, R, Scala:

12 years' experience in
data analysis using Relational Databases (e.g. Teradata, SQL Server) and SQL.
1 year of experience with Hadoop and familiarity with Apache Spark.
Experience with one or more deep learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe) is a plus.
Experience implementing solutions in a cloud environment (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
Experience from working in Lean and Agile environments is a plus.
Experience working with healthcare data a strong plus.
