VIDEO PRODUCER

SUMMARY


APC leverages media and digital engagement to serve its church community, to equip the church worldwide across languages, as well as a means for outreach.

As part of our team of video producers you will be involved in video production, guiding video projects from conception to completion.

You will have a wide range of responsibilities including ideation, casting talent and coordinating logistics to collaborating with other departments to ensure the video meets APC's ministry objectives.

As part of APC's Digital and Media Engagement team you will report directly to the Head of Media and Digital Engagement and/or the Senior Pastor and work closely with the rest of the team members.


ROLE DESCRIPTION
1) Assist in video production setup and handle video camera in Sunday services at APC Central, at least 2 Sunday's each month.


2) Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for sermons, devotionals, announcements, promotions, training, live-event productions, live streaming, and other APC ministry projects.

3) Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines, and select optimal forms of media for projects.

4) Work independently or as part of a team as required, to establish project deliverables.

5) Collaborate closely with pastors and ministry leaders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.

Plan video shoots:
scout, select and reserve shoot locations.

7) Develop production schedules.

8) Select and hire additional crew, church staff and church volunteers; direct and coach volunteers; make transportation arrangements for the crew, staff, volunteers, and equipment; and ensure all location power needs are met.

9) Reserve and rent equipment as required.

10) Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating, and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sound effects, media management and archiving project media.

11) Manage video libraries.

12) Evaluate analytics and work on continuous improvement of productions.

13) Additional tasks as media and digital engagement team expanses its work and ministry.


QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1) Bachelor's degree in digital media, video production, film, broadcasting and other media programs or related field or equivalent work experience.

2) Must have technical skills with experience in operating cameras and using editing software such as Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere.

Video:
Must understand various types of cameras, different lenses and how to create a particular shot. Familiarity with professional cameras (Sony Venice, Canon C500 Mark II or similar) or prosumer camcorders (Sony PXW-FS5M2 or similar), various HD and SD formats, preproduction/planning, studio and field production, lighting/grip and photography

Audio:

Must understand small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track, and waveform editing.

Post-production:

Must work hands-on with digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple delivery platforms.

6) Must be a quick learner and eager to enhance skills and learn new tools, technologies in media.

7) Commitment and ability to work in and contribute to team-based environment.

Salary:
₹300, ₹600,000.00 per year
