Description

To organize train and supervise over the restaurant/ in-room-dining/ bar service staff for the purpose of giving satisfactory service to guests

To be able to take complete charge in the absence of the F&B Manager

To develop restaurant sales through setting high standards of service to guests

To conduct daily briefings and allot duties to subordinate staff

To acquire thorough knowledge of food and beverage control procedures and implement the same

To handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction through immediate action

To inspect table cover layouts and equipment placement and settings before commencement of service

To inspect all service staff

To plan the staff duty roster with the approval of the manager in charge

To co-ordinate with housekeeping for proper cleaning of rest, banquets.

To co-ordinate with engineering for maintenance of the fittings and equipment in the service area

To consciously and continuously strive to better his/ her skills and increase his/ her knowledge

Ensure all reports are sent in timely manner.

Orient employees and provide on the job training.

Follow and ensure all staff members are following hotel grooming standards.

Ensure interdepartmental coordination.
