This role is responsible for supporting and implementing community engagement programs for ACCIONA Energia's MacIntyre Wind Farm Precinct and also supporting stakeholder engagement, working closely with the Community and Stakeholder Relations Lead.

Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting and implementing community engagement programs for ACCIONA Energia's MacIntyre Wind Farm Precinct and also supporting stakeholder engagement, working closely with the Community and Stakeholder Relations Lead.

The aim is to ensure relationships with local communities and key stakeholders are both positive and constructive.

This role will be based 4 days per week at our Warwick Community Shop Front (Rose City Shopping Centre) and 1 day per week onsite at the MacIntyre Wind Farm Precinct.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a first point of contact for the local community by being our frontofhouse representative at the Warwick Community Shop Front
  • Preparing highquality communications, such as newsletters, information bulletins, advertisements, mailings, and content for digital media, working as required with our internal Marketing team
  • Organising community events and activities
  • Leading the promotion and administration of community sponsorship and funding programs
Required Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to work autonomously and be motivated to make this newly created role your own
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with individuals from a variety of backgrounds
  • Good written communication skills
  • Intermediate or above level of competency with Microsoft Office
  • Previous administration or coordination experience
  • Current QLD or equivalent Australian state driver's license


ACCIONA Energía is building its largest ever wind farm in Australia, the MacIntyre Wind Farm Precinct in Queensland, with a total capacity of 1,026MW.

The project will boost the Queensland government's decarbonisation strategy, mobilising total investments of AU$1.96 billion (€1 billion). Construction is underway and the entire MacIntyre Wind Farm Precinct is scheduled to be fully operational in 2024.
