    Description

    About the role:

    We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented QA professional who is passionate about software quality and can spearhead our quality assurance efforts. As a Senior QA at Eastvantage, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and guide the team to ensure highest quality for our software products.

    Responsibilities:

    • Understand the project test requirements.
    • Mentor a team of QA testers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative testing environment along with evaluating test cases.
    • Report test results to ensure that system functionality satisfies acceptance criteria.
    • Develop and implement test strategies aligned with Agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe).
    • Collaborate effectively across departments (development, product management) to ensure clear communication of testing efforts, results, and potential issues so you as a team reach the goals.
    • Design and execute a wide range of testing approaches be it functional, non-functional, performance, security, accessibility, and regression testing.
    • Help create acceptance criteria for user stories.
    • Collaborate with the development team to perform root cause analysis.

    Position requirements:

    • 6 years of experience with Manual Testing.
    • Experience with Automation tools like Selenium, Postman is a plus.
    • Understanding of different testing concepts and methodologies.
    • Experience testing web and mobile applications and different types of testing approaches and testing environments (Dev, Test, Staging, Production).
    • Understanding the differences between JSON, YAML, and XML.
    • Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban and bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis.
    • Experience in test risk management and mitigation strategies.
    • Have a basic understanding Python and Robot Framework would be nice but not required.
