ABSTRACT  

Lung cancer is a type of cancer that starts in the lungs. It occurs when cells in the lungs grow abnormally and form a mass, or excrescence. Lung cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in the world, and it's the leading cause of cancer- related deaths.

Lung cancer is one of the most common and deadliest types of cancer, with high mortality rates worldwide. Smoking is the leading cause of lung cancer, but other threat factors similar as exposure to air pollution, radon, and inheritable factors can also contribute to its development.
