Role Profile


The role of the Market Data Sales Support Executive is to handle all post sales procedures for the LSE Market Data team.

This is a client-facing role and includes, but is not limited to, order fulfilment, billing processing, cancellations and changes, client support and data management.

The support executive will be responsible for all sales administrative duties and assisting the sales and account managers in gaining and keeping customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Processing of all the sales transactions for the Team and supporting all posttrade activities including KYC checks and document execution
  • Lead daytoday operation of the Market Data Licensing Portal and Data Shop Admin functions including campaign creation, validity checks, data uploads and opportunity amendments tracking through to completed orders
  • Working closely with the Billing and Credit Control departments to ensure customers are invoiced accurately and in a timely manner
  • Lead on external invoicing accuracy and respond to queries from all clients and finance teams
  • Resolves complex customer requests or complaints, along with day to day query management in a timely manner.
  • Produce monthly sales and management reports to Finance Teams for reconciliation and analysis
  • Data Steward responsibilities and Data Management formulating management techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
  • Management of the European Commission (EC) Commitment Requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information each month
  • Good understanding of sales lifecycle
