Daily safety improvement walks in allocated profile for improving safe work behavior & developing safe work culture among team to have safe workplace

  • Time bound closure of ICA, PCA related to incident, closure of open SRA
  • Ensuring 100% vehicle turnaround time from docks
  • Raise discrepancy reports at receiving stage and drive for closure in agreed time and minimizing same
  • Ensure on time receivers with Zero errors and Zero negative inventory
  • On time shipment of bailment parts, rejections to suppliers and empty dunnage return
  • Manage warehouse operation 100% location control, FIFO management, Inventory reduction/Min-Max management & 100% system vs physical stock integration
  • NIL handling damage and rust due to FIFO violation
  • NIL shortages, Zebra due to Receiving/shipping, warehouse and MFE operation
  • Accurate & Ontime shortage trigger to supply chain to ensure timely receipts of parts and supply to line
  • Manage Kanban operation for parts supply and part ordering/receipt from supplier
  • Coordinate with PS&R, Supply chain, manufacturing, Purchase/Finance, PDC and ensure 100% schedule adherence PDC backorder and VOR parts
  • Ensure pilferable part storage process to follow and system hygiene to be maintained
  • Manage ECN implementation and ensure NIL obsolescence due to material handling
  • Ensure 100% data integrity closure of sign off sheets with all concern stakeholders in agreed timeline with NIL/minimum financial impact
  • Drive MH&PE, Other sections of MP&L, MFG for open rejects closure on time, salvage. Scrap with minimum impact
  • Ensure on time operational support to MH-Line feeding, supply chain, PPM, C&L
  • Support L&OH targets and achieve cost saving, cost avoidance targets as per management guidelines
  • Achieve agreed training hours and guide team for career development
  • Coordination with Plant Engineering on the maintenance of PMHV's, Dock-Levelers & other facilities in WH
  • Maintain 5S, housekeeping in shop floor
  • Publish MIS reports for management review and support required
  • Support agreed stockpile for delinquent suppliers
  • Support launch and packaging function for smooth business operation
  • Keep driving 3PL service providers for sustaining high performance & keep improving performance continuously on SQDCME
  • Drive GFPS (Global Ford Production System) implementation & Ford+ Plans
  • Coaching & building team for delivering better performance day by day
  • Resolving conflicts arising out of daily tasks working with CFT
  • Ensure proactive action / escalation of critical issues and communicate with concerned cross functional departments for timely resolution of issues / potential issues
  • Develop ISO culture within MP&L sections and to ensure adherence to ISO procedures and ZERO NC in internal & external audits
  • Develop & foster a culture of VSM driven Kaizens to improve process efficiencies.
  • Drive the team towards achieving Departmental & Organization objectives.

Education Qualification:
B.E / B. Tech


Work Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in MP&L; Auto Industry preferable.


Special Knowledge required:
Strong understanding of lean material flow strategies


Others (specifics) :Exposure to ERP systems, MS Office, Good Communication, analytical & Problem-Solving skills, Demonstrate Leadership skills, specifically drive for results and teamwork, strong inter-personal skills, ability to work well in a fluid environment.
