Enterprise Cybersecurity Governance Document Administration


Reporting to the Enterprise Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance Lead, the role of Governance Documentation Administrator will be responsible for managing policies, standards, and Procedure Quality, keeping updates and revisions workflows up to date, as part of the Enterprise Cybersecurity Risk, Compliance, and Resilience Practice.


As a large organization, working in multiple types of industries globally, Aptiv & our acquisitions have requirements for compliance to various industry, regulatory, legislative and customer driven standards, which creates significant demand for aligning security policies, processes and controls accordingly, and providing assurances of compliance.

Additionally, you will have significant cross-functional collaboration with teams in IT, Privacy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Engineering, Supply Chain to align compliance efforts with global business demands


Your Role

In particular you will be responsible for:

  • Policy, Standards, and Procedure Quality, updates and management of cybersecurity documents.
  • Administrator of Document Management System (DMS) for centralized documents tracking of documents.
  • Keeping documentation up to date with NIST CSF, TISAX frameworks, ISO, and other regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Ensure quality procedures are in place in support of policies and standards.
  • Work with document owners and stakeholders to keep policies, standards and supporting documents updated.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of policies and standards, ensure appropriate signoff on the documents
  • Support in the design of security awareness training based on policies and standards.
  • Participate in virtual and onsite trainings related to polices and standards
  • Collaborate with wider Aptiv Security GRC team to develop ongoing improvements of the IT Security Risk Management strategy, program, and processes
  • Keep track of work in progress and published documents. Update as required in the Cybersecurity Intranet.
  • Serve as an internal consultant and advisor to the business on cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Ability to articulate on policy and standards.
  • Respond to internal and external assessments, questionnaires, and audits

Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance.
  • Proven knowledge of Security standards and Frameworks e.g., ISO, SOX, TISAX, NIST, CIS
  • Ability to create constructive relationships, influence, and communicate to IT, engineering & business audiences at all levels
  • Ability to work in a team environment and possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills, and be able to work in a team environment
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of independence regarding work tasks and project management activities
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills and ability to communicate to business audiences at all levels, to drive a riskaware culture

Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):


  • Experience with DMS and GRC tools
  • Industry recognized qualifications in IT Security or Risk domains
