    Description

    Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Engineering Change Orders review and approval from Spares parts point of view.
  • Serves as the conduit with Engineering and Planning to ensure Spares Inventory Assessment reporting will be in place prior to Engineering Change Orders approval.
  • Responsible for evaluating Spares material assessment to assure or minimize excess inventory prior to Engineering change submittal and analyses inventory financial impact (Rework Cost, Excess & Obsolete) and finalizing Spares Execution Plan.
  • Coordinate with internal team of Change order creators and collaborate with the Eng. Change Program Managers, Product Manager, Supplier Business Managers and Regional Planners to review E&O liability prior to Engineering Change Order submittal.
  • Co Ordinate with Regional planners Responsible for evaluating material consumption per implementation effectivity date(s) to assure no excess inventory.
  • Spares Reserve Recommendation and Extension of Parts to Spares depo.
  • Participates in change order strategy meeting as on need basis.

    • Mandatory skills required for the job

  • Experience and Expert level knowledge in Engineering Change Mgmt. Process.
  • Experience in Cost Analysis on change orders wrt BoM Changes.
  • Good understanding of BoM (Bill of Material) structure including Config BOM.
  • Experience in working with MS Excel, MS Access & MS Word.
  • Detailed oriented, strong analytical skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills (written & verbal) in English.

    • Desirable Skill

  • Good Problem-solving techniques.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Knowledge of six sigma/problem solving methodologies.

    • Eligibility Criteria

  • Years of Experience: 2 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
