As the Deal Governance professional in our Global Finance & Business Management team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.


Your role is a time-pressured and high-profile position which is instrumental in assisting/advising senior management and in coordinating the deployment of the bank's corporate resources to address strategic and tactical objectives.


Job responsibilities:


  • Conduct deal control reviews against Global CIB Payments Deal Booking requirements and identify any gaps associated with the review.
  • Review remediations to evaluate sufficiency, adequacy and completeness and ensure consistence practices across global requirements.
  • Evaluate underperforming CIB payments deals to identify root cause and conduct further adhoc analysis where needed.
  • Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive adhoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis
  • Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps which also includes additional training
  • Project manage and deliver key work streams and tasks.
  • Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes. Support audit, regulatory and compliance deliverables; help drive specific action plans and deliverables within the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework. Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
  • Prior experience in Business Management or COO role
  • Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders. Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence
  • Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups and driving the agenda
  • Excellent communication, organization and project management skills
  • Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisions
  • Inquisitive and curious to learn more and be able to dive into the details where and when necessary. Some leadership or oversight experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


  • Intermediate to advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables)
  • Selfmotivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
