As the Deal Governance professional in our Global Finance & Business Management team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.

Your role is a time-pressured and high-profile position which is instrumental in assisting/advising senior management and in coordinating the deployment of the bank's corporate resources to address strategic and tactical objectives.

Job responsibilities:

Conduct deal control reviews against Global CIB Payments Deal Booking requirements and identify any gaps associated with the review.
Review remediations to evaluate sufficiency, adequacy and completeness and ensure consistence practices across global requirements.
Evaluate underperforming CIB payments deals to identify root cause and conduct further adhoc analysis where needed.
Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive adhoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis
Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps which also includes additional training
Project manage and deliver key work streams and tasks.
Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes. Support audit, regulatory and compliance deliverables; help drive specific action plans and deliverables within the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework. Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
Prior experience in Business Management or COO role
Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders. Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence
Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups and driving the agenda
Excellent communication, organization and project management skills
Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisions
Inquisitive and curious to learn more and be able to dive into the details where and when necessary. Some leadership or oversight experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Intermediate to advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables)
Selfmotivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong time management and prioritization skills
