COMMUNITY OUTREACH / Camp Coordinator (Charitable Wing) at Eye Hospital
Job Description:
The Camp Coordinator at our Eye Hospital's Charitable Wing plays a pivotal role in organizing and facilitating outreach programs and eye camps within communities.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and Execution:
Organize and oversee the logístical aspects of eye camps, including scheduling, venue arrangements, equipment procurement, and coordinating medical staff participation.
Community Engagement:
Collaborate with local organizations, community leaders, and volunteers to promote eye health awareness and encourage participation in the eye camps.
Patient Management:
Coordinate patient registrations, screenings, and follow-ups, ensuring efficient patient flow during eye camps while maintaining accurate records and data.
Team Coordination:
Work closely with medical professionals, volunteers, and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of eye camps, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Reporting and Evaluation:
Maintain detailed records of camp activities, patient outcomes, and feedback for internal reporting and program improvement purposes.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure adherence to established protocols, safety standards, and compliance with healthcare regulations during all camp activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in event planning, community outreach, or healthcare coordination.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and culturally sensitive approach towards diverse communities.
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work effectively in a team setting.
The Camp Coordinator will contribute significantly to the hospital's mission of providing quality eye care services to those in need, fostering community relationships, and ensuring the success of charitable eye camps.
