Description

Our young and growing company is seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our team.

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex data sets, developing predictive models, and providing insights to support our business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Develop predictive models using statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques, such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting, clustering, and neural networks.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement datadriven solutions to business problems.
Use SQL and NoSQL databases to extract and manipulate data.
Create and maintain data pipelines and workflows using tools such as Amazon SageMaker Pipelines or Apache Airflow
Use data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn to present insights and communicate results to nontechnical stakeholders.
Work on projects related to recommendation systems, predictive maintenance, customer segmentation, demand forecasting, fraud detection, and optimization.
Stay uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in data science and analytics.
Work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
12 years of experience in a data science or analytics role.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets.
Proficient in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning, and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms, including linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting, clustering, and neural networks.
Familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
