What you will do:


  • Interface with the Clinicians and the crossfunctional team of computer vision scientist and engineer, providing expert guidance on Surgery Procedures and Surgical data, mentorship, and continuous improvement in clinical context.
  • Lead, mentor, formulate and work with the team and the partner surgeons to design, prototype, evaluate, optimize, implement and deploy CV/DL algorithms as an integral part of AIpowered medical technologies.
  • Own the partnership with clinicians and define roadmap and implementation of key new initiatives in Artificial intelligence, and Augmented reality / Mixed reality, for collaborative AI/XR research.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration within the team.
  • Document and present progress in Data Partnership, Clinical Research and Data Management, algorithm design, development, and evaluation
  • Promote best practices in data management, data architecture, and data governance across the organization.
  • Be in the trenches with the Technical team to build something great, together.

What you need:


  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Medical / Surgical field, Computer Science with clinical exposure or related discipline with 10+ years of work experience or PhD degree in relevant disciplines with 7+ years of work experience.
  • Strong knowledge and skills on applied technology in surgical interventions using, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning and working with edgebased / embedded computer vision Application
  • Understanding of Software Programming with high level languages i.e. Python or C/C++ is preferred.
  • Strong problemsolving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with medical devices and product development in a regulated industry, e.g., software developed under ISO 13485.
