What you'll do:


  • Eaton Corporation's Center for Intelligent Power has an opening for a Senior Data
  • Scientist who is passionate about his or her craft. The Data Scientist shall be
- experienced in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and AI based algorithm
- development. In addition to this Data Scientist will also be involved in successful
- integration of these algorithms in embedded, edge or cloud systems using software
- release process.
  • Data Science Model development using machine learning, deep learning also
involving digital signal processing- Improve and support existing data science products and Develop custom data models

and algorithms- Experienced in embedded software development with good experience of different

boards, microprocessors, test equipment, DSP etc.- Iterate in order to design data-driven solutions that help solve critical business

problems and better understand company needs and contribute innovative ideas to
- enhance or develop products using new or existing data streams
  • Present and promote results to both internal stakeholders and external clients and
partners- Good software architecture skills to understands the end to end software development

cycle including CI/CD and software release.- Evaluate business requirements to determine potential solutions

  • Author highquality, highlyperformance, unittested code to extract and transform data
based on business and data science needs- Work directly with stakeholders, engineering, and test to create high quality solutions

that solve end-user problems.- Collaborate broadly across multiple functions (data engineering, product management,


IT, etc.)
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or master's degree or pursuing in computer science, Data Science, software
- engineering, digital signal processing, Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • Keen on delivering technology solutions in a production environment

Skills:


  • TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
  • Master Computer Science or Equivalent Engineering with Electives/Thesis in ML, Deep Learning, AI, Statistics, Data Mining
  • Exposure to Machine Learning, Deep Learning (CNN,RNN,..), Reinforcement Learning, Optimization Techniques, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing,Recommendation AI Systems.
  • Exposure to Digital Signal Processing, Fourier transform, filtering methods, etc.
  • Exposure to tinyML, Tensor Flow, Scikit, Keras, Spark ML
  • Good Progamming Knowledge in Python, R, Matlab, C/C++, PySpark, and has good Linux platform
  • Good software architecture skills to understands the end to end software development cycle including CI/CD and software release.
  • Exposure to at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Excellent communication (verbal, presentation, documentation) skills, working with teams that are geographically dispersed, to produce solutions that satisfy functional and nonfunctional requirements and the ability to effectively explain technical concepts
  • Ability to specify and write code that is accessible, secure, and performs in an optimized manner with an ability to output to different types of consumers and systems
  • Solid understanding of Python and associated IDE's (Eclipse, Visual Studio, PyCharm, etc.)
  • Strong problem solving and software debugging skills
  • Abreast of upcoming software development/engineering tools, trends, and methodologies
  • Good judgment, time management, and decisionmaking skills

Desired:

  • Knowledge of IoT technologies, including cloud processing, like Azure IoT Hub.
  • Experience in Design Thinking or humancentered methods to identify and creatively solve customer needs, through a holistic understanding of customer's problem area
  • Knowledgeable in leveraging multiple data transit protocols and technologies (MQTT, Rest API, JDBC, etc)

SOFT SKILLS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively explain technical concepts
  • Work as a part of virtual, global team
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
