    Roles & Responsibilities

    Our team, called rOar, resides in Re:Sources UK,You will ensure redundancy is built in to offer very high availability of all our systems while managing the budget of these Azure deployments,Maintain and evolve our continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous deployment (CI/CD) setup Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate deployment and scaling of our infrastructure where necessary Maintain and improve our monitoring systems Monitor uptime and respond immediately to any issues that arise Troubleshoot infrastructure issues such as low disk space, network issues, throughput RU/s in Cosmos, performance issues in SQL server, server errors, etc.,Ensure backups are taken regularly and the DR plan is ready to be executed at any point in time,Identify and correct any single points of failure Plan and perform various load tests (stress test, spike test, load test, soak test),Document current environment setup and keep documentation up to date Optimise cost of Azure services with capacity requirements Be an evangelist for DevOps industry best practices,Keep up to date with Azure tooling and implement improvements to our systems Support software developers with best practice in their projects and work closely with them to capture, analyse and deliver DevOps requirements Review vulnerabilities on our Azure instances and resolve accordingly Skills/Experience We're looking for a guru on all things Azure

    Expertise & Qualification

    Deep knowledge of configuring and coding for Redis, SQL Server, Cosmos, and Azure Storage (blob, table, file) Competency in building applications that use Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Search Expertise in Azure App Services and experience in setting up IaaS solutions like Virtual Machines where requirements cannot be delivered via PaaS Expertise in setting up and monitoring Azure Application Insights Preferred Certifications are Azure DevOps (AZ - 400), Azure Data Engineering (AZ-200 and AZ-201) and,Expertise in debugging Knowledge of load testing tools Soft skills
