Role & Responsibilities

Machine Setup: Prepare CNC machines by installing and adjusting cutting tools, loading materials (metal, plastic, or other materials), and inputting the CNC program.

Programming and Testing: Review and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and program instructions. Load the CNC program, run simulations, and conduct trial runs to verify the accuracy of the code and detect errors.

CNC Operation: Operate CNC machines to perform cutting, shaping, or milling tasks based on the programmed instructions. Monitor the machine's performance and adjust settings as necessary for optimal results.

Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications, performing measurements using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, or gauges.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning. Diagnose and resolve issues related to machine performance or product quality.

Workpiece Handling: Remove completed workpieces from the machine and replace them with new ones. Ensure efficient utilization of materials to minimize waste.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while operating CNC equipment. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings, and any issues encountered during the manufacturing process.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
