- Involved in development of test cases and test plan for specified functionalities
- Defining and Validating the test environment
- Responsible to perform the verification of the ECU as a component or each function as specified.
- Define test case automation framework strategies.
- Responsible for the first level of quality assurance and to deliver supporting test results in the form of a detailed test report.
- Perform analysis and draw conclusions of delivered test results
- Responsible in validating the use case scenarios for the functions
- Finding the root cause for vehicle level issues
- Securing quality and readiness before release
- Responsible to drive test strategies with in the team and explore different test methods and tools aligning with CI/CD.
- Contributing to formalizing the investment needs for verification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics, software, computer engineering (or similar) with 9 to 12 years of experience.
- End user function testing at SIL , HIL and Vehicle
- Knowledge on Managing electrical energy in vehicle and electrical components.
- Exposure to CAN, LIN, J1939, UDS protocol
- Experience with CAPL/Python/Perl/Shell scripting/LAB View
- Experience with CANalyzer/CANOE environment
- Experience in writing Software test plan/test cases for Verification using a very high level cross functional specification.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge on Functional Safety
- Skilled in Stakeholder management
- Working with Agile teams and familiarity with toolchains like Jenkins, Clearcase, GIT, JIRA, is a merit
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Leading on complex group tasks/projects and actively developing team members
- Role model of cutting edge thinking and an established contributor to life-long learning within GTT as a master trainer, coach and/or mentor
- Solid T-shaped profile with definable expert knowledge within broad-based all-round toolkit
- Demonstrable influencer within the Volvo network
- Able to clearly articulation of how you are creating value to for the team , stream and beyond your role or area of work
