Position Title:
Store Executive (Kitchen and Stores)


Position Summary:


The Store Executive for Kitchen and Stores plays a crucial role in managing inventory, procurement, and distribution of goods within the kitchen and other designated storage areas.

This position ensures efficient operation of the store, maintaining optimal stock levels, and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:


  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels for kitchen supplies, food ingredients, and other items.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.

Procurement and Purchasing:


  • Source suppliers for kitchen supplies, food ingredients, and other items, ensuring quality, costeffectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to obtain favorable terms and conditions.
  • Place purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.

Storage and Organization:


  • Organize storage areas in the kitchen and other designated locations to maximize space utilization and facilitate easy access to items.
  • Implement proper storage techniques to maintain the quality and freshness of perishable goods.
  • Rotate stock and adhere to FIFO (first in, first out) principles to minimize waste and spoilage.

Food Safety and Hygiene:


  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper storage, handling, and labeling of food items.
  • Conduct regular inspections of storage areas to identify and address any sanitation issues or potential hazards.
  • Train kitchen staff on proper food handling procedures and storage practices.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods, including invoices, delivery receipts, and stock movement logs.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and purchasing activities for management review.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions regarding inventory management and procurement.

Quality Control:


  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity, rejecting any items that do not meet the specified standards.
  • Monitor the condition of stored goods, taking corrective action as needed to prevent spoilage or contamination.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that only highquality ingredients and supplies are used in food preparation.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or procurement, preferably in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling and storing perishable goods.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with vendors, kitchen staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and documentation.

Additional Requirements:


  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed to meet operational demands.

Pay:
₹16, ₹18,500.00 per month
