Showroom B2B is a leading B2B marketplace in the Fashion and Apparel industry, connecting manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers in a dynamic ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
This role entails expanding an existing account portfolio while facilitating the integration of new accounts.
Additionally, it involves devising and executing strategic sales plans and forecasts to attain growth and profitability targets for the designated account portfolio.
The incumbent reports to the Operations Head.Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily shipments with shippers/warehouses and manage routine logistics operations for key clients.
- Oversee project shipments from inception to billing.
- Assist the Planning department in identifying costeffective transportation methods for various products and equipment, considering delivery requirements.
- Analyze transportation routes, negotiate fees, and liaise with the Operations Department.
- Evaluate carriers and rates, translating information into cost reports for client presentations.
- Monitor carrier performance and provide feedback to carriers/management.
- Select carriers for each client based on their needs and negotiate carrier rates.
- Establish service reports for clients.
- Conduct profit and cost analyses for different accounts.
- Attend meetings with carriers and clients as needed.
- Undertake special projects assigned by management.
- Fulfill transportationrelated duties in compliance with regulations, standards, company policies, and business needs.
Experience:
- 4+ years of relevant Key Account Management experience in the 3PL industry, gained from freight, consulting, or thirdparty logistics firms.
- Proficiency in operational finance (rate development, warehouse and distribution pricing, financial statements, financial solutions).
- Extensive industry knowledge, particularly in freight, warehousing, distribution, and relevant technologies.
- Demonstrated capability in strategy formulation and program execution.
- Experience in negotiating customer contracts and pricing.
- Proven track record in securing new business and fostering organic growth within existing accounts.
- Familiarity with managing external service providers and systems.
- Selfmotivated and proactive, with a strong inclination for learning.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal communication, and problemsolving abilities.
