JOB SUMMARY


To grow aftermarket opportunities through development and implementation of customer facing Trojan Programs, customer technical support, wetted end initiatives, IoT initiatives supporting aftermarket annuity programs and service center support.

Train and transfer technical process and mechanical knowledge to Order Engineering and Application team members, perform training for adoption to Commercial and Aftermarket teams, perform warranty assessments for root cause identification and identify efficiency enhancement opportunities to be applied both within both internal and customer processes.


PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively participate in all regions MOE review team activities. Occasionally participate in the onsite MOE.
  • Facilitate margin enhancement and new booking opportunities using the MOE findings and its incorporation into the MOHR as well as performing presentation of findings to customers.
  • Develop expected performance enhancements, associated return on investment, payback period and other measurable defined financial and performance metrics for all MOHR presentations in all regions to enhance customer interests associated with potential Aftermarket bookings.
  • Interface with Order and Application Engineering in all regions to provide historical proven approaches to solve a problem for operational equipment to be more efficient and reduce risk.
  • Facilitate the training and knowledge transfer of gearbox design and failure analysis into aftermarket Application, engineering, and shop personnel.
  • Complete root cause failure analysis relative to I&R activities where there is a potential for driving mechanical/process upgrades.
  • Complete root cause failure analysis to assess material warranty claims to identify and/or confirm solution as well as responsibility.
  • Determine how to convert warranty claims into accretive aftermarket opportunities.
  • Work with customers to identify mechanical failures as process problems that need addressed through wetted part or whole mixer upgrades.
  • Train and coach internal and external resources relative to why mixers fail, service factor impacts, importance of mechanical seal integration and deflection impact with mixers, agitator impeller hub upgrade advantages, wetted parts upgrades.
  • Contribute to developing strategies and approaches to virtually service all mixers; replace and repair key competitor inservice equipment. For example, facilitate the development of standardized CMX solutions for all "B" mixer product lines with substantial install base into "A" mixer products.
  • Contribute to obtaining the voice of the customer relative to aftermarket service and product offering development and adoption.
  • Work with sourcing team to certify new vendors capable of handling aftermarket opportunities with speed and precision.
  • Be the leader in developing and promoting wetted end initiatives starting to drive an increase in orders, inclusive of training and promotion with Commercial as well as within the marketplace with customers globally.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Fabrication and Machining processes
  • Strong Mechanical and Process skills related to mixers a plus
  • Ability to travel Regionally as much as 75% of the time
  • Proven drive and ambition

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Four Year Degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • 25 years of experience in rotating engineering
  • Experience Leading oth
