Part II - Role Responsibilities

Role Objective

This role is primarily responsible to design and build systems using SQL server.

Work with the team and client POC's in taking care of the delivery and plays a lead role in the day-to-day deliverables and driving the tasks.

Principal Accountabilities

  • 5+ years' experience primarily in SQL Server and System Designs
  • Expertise in SQL querying, Data warehousing & Validation end
  • Expertise in SQL and SQL designs
  • Perform advanced system development activities using SQL, Database tuning, SQL tuning.
  • Experience in MSBI tools SSIS & SSRS.
  • Follow established standards and best practices and provide input for improvement of those processes
  • Understand client requirements, demonstrate expertise in negotiations and drive discussions that brings clarity and details that can have positive influence on overall quality
  • Mentor team of Junior engineers from database developers, analytical experts and data integration/visualization engineers providing technical & nontechnical guidance to help them grow their skills, deliver quality implementations for successful completion of projects
  • Follow best practices for data systems development and diligently enforces them across the projects through combination of process, education, training and sufficient review processes
  • Must have excellent communication skills (English) to interface with US clients directly and verify in proficient in all types of communication modes

Experience

5+ Years

Primary Skills

  • Expertise in database and systems architecture design, development and implementation.
  • Experience in data structures, indexing, query, and retrieval.
  • Data management skills including ensuring data integrity, data access, security and archiving procedures.
Secondary Skills

  • Experience on Azure cloud environment will be preferred.
Certification

  • SQL
Certifications

  • Azure Certifications if any
Knowledge and Competence

  • Good communication skills with project team members as well as client stakeholders and business users.
  • Experience in documenting and maintaining technical design.
