    Job Title: Director of Data Migration and Automation

    Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic andexperienced professional to join our team as the Director of Data Migration andAutomation. In this role, you will lead the migration of data from variousIntellectual Property (IP) solutions in the market to our company's softwareplatform as part of the implementation team. Leveraging your expertise in theIP domain, you will oversee a team of Data Migration specialists, guiding themin analyzing, mapping, and transforming data to ensure accuracy and integritythroughout the migration process. Additionally, you will be responsible forspearheading the development of automation systems, streamlining data migrationtasks, and enhancing overall efficiency.     Roles and Responsibilities:

    · Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead a team of Data Migration specialists,ensuring they have the necessary skills, resources, and support to execute datamigration projects effectively.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship toteam members, fostering a collaborative and client-focused work environment.
  • · Data Mapping and Transformation:

  • Develop comprehensive data mapping andtransformation plans to align data from other IP solutions in the market withthe data model of the company's software solution.
  • Ensure that IP-related data elements areaccurately mapped and transformed to maintain data integrity and consistencyduring migration.
  • · Competitor Data Analysis:

  • Lead the analysis of data structures, formats,and schemas from other Intellectual Property (IP) solutions in the market.
  • Understand the unique data models and featuresof these systems to devise effective migration strategies.
  • · Automation System Development:

  • Design, architect, and build an automationsystem for mapping, transforming, and migrating data from legacy systems to thecompany's software solution.
  • Develop automation processes, workflows, andscripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline the data migration process.
  • · IP Domain Expertise is a Plus:

  • Utilize expertise in Intellectual Propertydomain to understand the nuances of IP data, including patents, trademarks,copyrights, and related legal entities.
  • Collaborate with legal and subject matter expertsto ensure accurate interpretation and migration of IP-related data acrosssystems.
  • · Technical Integration and Customization:

  • Work closely with technical teams to integratethe automation system into the data migration workflow, ensuring seamless executionand integration with existing systems.
  • Customize and optimize automation processes toaccommodate the unique data structures and requirements of IP-related data andlegacy systems.
  • · Quality Assurance and Testing:

  • Establish specialized quality assuranceprocesses and test cases tailored to IP data migration, including validation ofpatent, trademark, and copyright information.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of theautomation system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of datamigration activities.
  • · Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage directly with clients to understand theirspecific data migration requirements, preferences, and challenges.
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations toclients regarding the migration of IP-related data, addressing concerns andensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • · Continuous Learning and Innovation:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices,and emerging technologies related to data migration and automation in theIntellectual Property domain.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement inthe automation system and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectivenessof data migration initiatives.
  • · Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams toensure that data migration initiatives meet business goals and clientexpectations.
  • Provide input and feedback on productenhancements and features based on insights gained from other IP solution datamigration experiences.
  • · Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Document migration processes, workflows, andautomation procedures specific to Intellectual Property data, creating aknowledge base for future reference and training.
  • Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and workshopsto disseminate best practices, lessons learned, and domain-specific expertiseto internal teams and clients.
  • Requirements

    Experience:

  • Candidate should have extensive experience inleading data migration projects in the context of software implementation (15+years).
  • Should have a deep understanding of datamigration methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience inleadership roles.
  • Should be familiar with automation tools andtechnologies, as well as database management systems and data integrationplatforms.
  • Experience in the Intellectual Property (IP)domain or related industries is highly desirable.
