    Job Description:
    We are looking for a talented Data Governance Specialist to be part of our team in Bangalore. If you have a solid background in data governance and are proficient in tools like Collibra, data lineage, data quality, metadata management, and Python, then you might be the one we need. This role demands a proactive individual who can spearhead data governance projects and guarantee the consistency, security, and quality of our data assets.


    Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and execute data governance strategies and frameworks to uphold data quality, consistency, and security.
    • Enhance data governance tools, such as Collibra, to facilitate data lineage, data quality, and metadata management.
    • Work collaboratively with different teams to define data standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Perform data quality assessments and carry out improvement plans.
    • Create and update data lineage documentation to monitor data flow and changes.
    • Ensure compliance with internal data policies and regulatory standards.
    • Provide guidance and training to business users on data governance tools and practices.
    • Track and analyze data governance metrics and performance indicators.


    Technical Skills:
    • Extensive experience with data governance tools, particularly Collibra.
    • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
    • Understanding of data lineage principles and tools.
    • Background in data quality management and metadata management.
    • Familiarity with Naltrex or similar tools.
    • Knowledge of database technologies and data warehousing.
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.


    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields.
    • 5-12 years of experience in data governance or related roles.
    • Demonstrated skills in implementing and overseeing data governance frameworks.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal aptitude.
    • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Detailoriented with a focus on data precision and integrity.


    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms and data integration tools.
    • Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance.
