Social Content Editor

Chennai, India
The Social Content Editor will be responsible for proofreading and editing short-form content posts written by the drafting team.

They will be expected to follow the established QA process, provide frequent feedback to writers and be responsible for maintaining quality standards.

This individual will be expected to identify areas for improvement within the team and help create plans on how to reduce error rates and revisions from our clients.


Your Impact:


  • Proofread, edit, and rewrite at least 150 social media posts drafted daily.
  • Write social media content whenever the need arises.
  • Provide critical feedback to writers through feedback documents and the error log sheet to help them improve their quality of work.
  • Coordinate with other editors and QA stakeholders to create training plans based on the requirements of the team.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback about each writer to their respective managers.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Experience in proofreading and editing content.
  • Ability to translate skills to other employees through coaching
  • Ability to multitask, be decisive, and remain calm under pressure
  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with Vendasta O&O products, including but not limited to Task Manager, Social Marketing, etc., and the overall Vendasta platform is considered an asset.

Responsible for the following KPIs:

- # Posts QA'd

  • Days to Calendar Delivery
  • Overdue Tasks and Customer Wait Times
  • Quality Assurance of Deliverables
