Requirements:

Good knowledge of IDS Software is mandatory:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hotel, resort, or hospitality setting.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in spoken and written [languages as required].
  • Proficiency in using reservation and front desk software systems.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain composed and courteous under pressure.
  • Familiarity with local attractions and services to assist guests effectively.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities:

Guest Check-In/Check-Out:Greet guests upon arrival, assist with check-in procedures, and provide room keys.

  • Handle guest departures, ensure accurate billing, and process checkouts efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into the reservation system and maintain an updated availability status.

Guest Services:Respond to guest inquiries, provide information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions.

  • Address guest concerns or complaints professionally, aiming for satisfactory resolutions.

Front Desk Operations:Manage the front desk area, keeping it organized, tidy, and welcoming at all times. Maintain a working knowledge of the property layout, amenities, and operational details.

Communication:Relay messages, mail, and packages to guests promptly. Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to coordinate guest requests.

Cash Handling and Billing:Handle guest payments, process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.

Multi-Tasking:Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, such as assisting guests, answering phones, and handling reservations.

Emergency Response:Follow established procedures for handling emergency situations, such as evacuations or medical assistance.

Documentation and Reporting:Keep accurate records of guest interactions, transactions, and requests. Generate reports on room occupancy, revenue, and other front office metrics as required.

Upselling and Promotion:Promote resort services, packages, and special offers to enhance guest experience and revenue.

Training and Support:Assist in training new front office staff members as needed
