The India center is the largest headcount location of Monotype. It is based in NOIDA, Sector 125 (Delhi/NCR).

The focus of this fast-growing center spans Product Development, Product Management, Experience Design, User Research, Market Intelligence, Research in areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, Innovation, Customer Success, Enterprise Business Solutions, and Sales.

Our finance department is looking for a Co-Op/Intern to join the royalty and revenue team to assist with their daily operations.

This role will not only aid the team with their day-to-day responsibilities, but will also work with the team to make processes more efficient.

This is a great opportunity to combine financial, analytical and systems thinking collaboratively across the finance department.

What you'll be doing:

Revenue Operations:
Review, reconcile and validate the accuracy of customers royalty reporting.
Understand the terms of licensing agreements to efficiently analyze compliance contracts.
Process related information needed to create invoice to customer.
Respond to internal inquiries regarding contracts, reports and other general inquires.
Royalty Operations:
Process and initiate workflow for new or updated royalty calculations in the royalty reporting system.
Review, reconcile and validate the accuracy of Licensor royalty reports.
Post invoices for accounts payables.
Respond to inquiries from external partners regarding royalty related matters.
Project Management (Depending on company status and workload):
Support finance department with projects that could be unique to a department in finance or can be collaborations with other finance team members.

What we're looking for:

25 years of experience in a Business, Accounting or Finance role preferred.
Experience with financial software/systems e.g. SAP, Alliant etc. is a plus, but not required.
Experience working with databases and generating reports is a plus, but not required.
Organization skills and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities.
Detail and deadline orientation.
High level of motivation, and willingness to take initiative and ask questions.
Interest in learning and developing new skillsets.
Desire to make the most out of this opportunity.
Progress towards a degree in finance or accounting.
