here will be a paid Astronomy and Equipment Training period for approximate duration of 40 days before the educator is assigned to their roles and responsibilities

Profile:
Educator/Science Teacher


  • Programme Planning and Delivery.
  • Conducting Astronomy Observations, training in telescope and other equipment during evening and night observations at SPACE sites.
  • Creating reports of various educational programs.
  • Organizing outreach events, which are conducted under the banner of SPACE India.
  • Representing company across various media through interviews, participation in the talk shows; write papers and articles in magazine and newspapers as per the company's media policy.
  • Selftraining and sharpening scientific skills on a regular basis for new programs.
  • Help in the promotion and propagation of the astronomy and space science education

Job specification:


  • Science / Engineer Graduate
  • Proficient in MS

Office Tools:
PowerPoint, Excel, Word

  • Multitasking and Goal oriented
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Excellent PR Skills
  • Confident
  • Team Player
  • Motivated

Optional:


  • Knowledge of the software: Photoshop, Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Experience of teaching,

Deliverables at the job:


  • Maintain the quality standard of program conduction.
  • Plan client programs/sessions/activities/events on time, freeze, and follow the agenda.
  • Preparing students for national and international competitions /projects
  • Prepare and timely submit all the reports and formats
  • Organize and participate in events like fairs, quiz competitions, observations, Public Watches etc.
  • Maintain the PR with clients
  • Represent company across various media and social media as per guidelines
  • Participate and volunteer for popularizing Astronomy and Space Science among masses.

Note:
