- 2D/3D analysis, modelling in real combusting environment to evaluate, propose new design solutions, understand, optimize impact on fuel air mixing, emissions, performance, and combustion dynamics.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conceptual or theoretical activities aimed at optimizing the combustion and emissions performances
- Developing indepth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute project & strategy.
- Uses engineering judgment and has ability to propose different solutions
- Learn and handson with fundamentals of gas turbine combustors, fuel injectors and spray
- 2D/3D CFD modelling in real combusting environment to evaluate/propose new designs and understand impact on other CTQs like fuel air mixing, emissions, and combustion dynamics
- Release downselected designs in collaboration with cross
Required Qualification
- BE / BTech / ME / MTech/ MS / PhD in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Basic understanding of fluid mechanics, combustion & heat transfer
- 23 Years of experience in an engineering function in execution, leading project program in mechanical or aero thermal design/analysis or combustion aerodynamics.
- Demonstrated technical design, experience of executing design/analysis, problem solving. Possesses & demonstrate passion towards design & technologies, awareness of aerothermal or combustion & mechanical design
