    About the Strategic Content Solutions

    The Strategic Content Solutions, part of RWS's Global Content Services, works closely with major accounts and clients of all sizes who are going global with specialized localization services. These services cover the entire localization spectrum, from translating content, media and audio to creating engaging eLearning programs and transcreating highly impactful marketing campaigns. The SCS works closely with RWS's Language eXperience Delivery (LXD) platform, which includes 2,000 in-house linguists, and a network of more than 29,000 translators, who use RWS's proprietary machine translation, AI and translation productivity tools, to deliver a 24/7 service to clients.

    Job Purpose

    This is a new position focusing on developing the India market with the New Business Development Director being responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing business with new clients in the hi-tech markets who are looking to solve their language service and technology challenges by working with RWS – a company who has been doing this for the World's leading brands for more than six decades.

    They will be responsible generating their own pipeline through developing an effective sales strategy and approach initially within the hi-tech markets positioning RWS's GoGlobal, tech writing, AI and eLearning offerings. They will work in conjunction with our business consultants and operational colleagues to put the right solution in front of potential customers.

    They will have support from inside sales and marketing, but the focus of this role is hunting for and closing new logo deals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Leverage professional network within the hi-tech markets to enhance awareness of RWS brand and showcase portfolio of services and solutions.
    • Devise and drive lead generation programs and campaigns, interacting with partners, networking, cold calling campaigns and effective messaging to close new logo deals.
    • Identify and maximize opportunities in the hi-tech markets to close new deals to achieve agreed targets.
    • Map organizations in regard to business units, influencers, sponsors, and power sponsors.
    • Identify business drivers to associate optimal services and solutions.
    • Work closely with inside sales to build the right strategy to gain optimum results.
    • Tight coordination with operational / delivery teams as it pertains to new opportunities.
    • Building a robust pipeline and delivering the quarterly and annual quota targets.
    • To identify and close new clients and/or partners for RWS.
    • Deliver revenue growth goals established in conjunction with executive and Divisional management.
    • Build strong internal relationships with the people responsible for executing what you have sold.
    • Provide appropriate management updates, ensure Salesforce is updated to support data driven activity effectively and solicit feedback and direction when appropriate.

    • A demonstrable history of developing new services business and building long term relationships within the hi-tech enterprise markets.
    • Track record of hitting and exceeding new business sales targets within our target markets.
    • Highly proficient at building and maintaining professional relationships and expanding connections through diverse platforms and events.
    • Ability to cultivate collaboration and build partnerships, contributing to collective success
    • Proven ability to secure meetings with key stakeholders and decision makers
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in order to present and sell RWS Global Solutions
    • Excellent communication skills; able to actively listen and command respect from clients
    • Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs and targets.
    • Experience working with Salesforce.
