    India Role Description:

    Joining the compression team at Siemens Energy, the Data Engineer will play a pivotal role in leading data architecture and data-related initiatives.

    This role involves hands-on work with data ingestion, data modeling, analytics, and working in a data ops team to drive data and analytics forward.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Extensive leadership in data architecture and data-related initiatives. Hands-on development of streaming and batch data pipelines for cloud and hybrid infrastructures. In-depth expertise in database and data warehouse modeling supporting analytical workloads. Collaboration with data owners and integration teams to ensure data quality and performance. Driving technical delivery with accountability for strategy and execution. Advocate for modern software development practices and agile methodologies.


    Skills and Qualifications:
    Extensive experience in data & analytics, data architecture, and leading a data ops team. Sound understanding of data ingestion, data modeling, and analytics. Broad expertise in ETL and experience with streaming frameworks like AWS IoT stack. Proficiency with modern software development tools and extensive data analysis skills. Knowledge of cloud providers in data architecture, particularly AWS.


    Education:
    Bachelor's / Master's or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field

    Work Experience:
    At least three (3+) years of experience as a team lead. Broad and in-depth experience in developing data pipelines and working with ETL Proficiency in
