    Director, Sourcing Manager - Real Estate/Facility Management + Corporate Services (REFM+CS) Category Sourcing owner and Professional Services (IT & Consulting) leadership support.

    Position Summary: Leads a global team of category and commodity sourcing leads & negotiators responsible for all needs specific to the category and commodity sourcing. Has responsibility for the assigned categories, which may be global in nature. Leads professional staff indirectly through more junior managers. Develops the sourcing strategy, serves as the primary sourcing contact and is responsible for negotiation outcomes for all categories and commodities. Acts as the senior leader for the teams based in India and point of contact/escalation for India and APAC senior management.

    Position Summary:

    Manages the REFM+ CS category spend of $M and provides leadership support to the $M Professional Service category. Manages staff of commercial and contract negotiators direct and indirect (Global team) in a matrixed model (local reporting and global category reporting). This role reports directly to the Regional Head of Sourcing – India/APAC, based in India. The role is responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating category spend contracting and negotiations for the REFM+CS category and in addition will provide support and direction to the Global Professional Services Category Directors to effectively manage their category spend. Develops the sourcing strategy, serves as the primary sourcing contact and is responsible for negotiation outcomes for REFM+CS Category. Acts as the leader for the teams based in India and point of contact/escalation for India and APAC senior management.

    Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads Global REFM+CS category sourcing team of contract and commercial negotiators responsible for all needs specific to category sourcing. Acts as a Global interface to support and manages escalations for REFM +CS category along with providing support and direction to Professional services category Directors to effectively manage spend under management.
  • Plays a key role in implementation of the sourcing strategy, policies and processes that are supported from the region with end-to-end responsibility for its delivery. Ensures sourcing methodologies are in alignment with the global/regional strategy of the organization.
  • Responsible for the holistic commercial strategy for key negotiations of category of spend - including demand assessment, deal negotiations and implementation planning in partnership with the business.
  • Maintains broad knowledge of Real Estate, Facility Management & Corporate Services Category and sourcing needs specific to different regions and serves as the sourcing point of contact.
  • When needed, will lead the development of standard commodity savings metrics and supplier consolidation and cost reduction policies/ strategies based on recommendations from category owners.
  • Maintains superior and strong relationships with global business leaders and senior stakeholders, to ensure Category specific sourcing needs are met and managed in accordance with global sourcing policies.
  • Works closely with the Regional Head of Contracting and sourcing India/APAC, along with global category leads to develop sourcing strategy and manage sourcing activities. Takes ownership of and is responsible to delivery commercial value while enabling a seamless experience for internal customers and vendor partners.

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Must have + years in depth Sourcing knowledge and experience in in REFM+CS and Professional services -IT and Management consulting categories with demonstrated work experience in managing complex projects and end to end execution.
  • Must have strong experience in managing contract life cycle management process from Initial RFX planning ,negotiation, contract drafting, negotiations and strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to assess complex contractual issues. Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory framework related to contracts.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge on Third party Risk assessment and management to identify and mitigate potential risk and liabilities associated with thirty party contracts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to influence and persuade stakeholders
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across various departments within and outside Enterprise Sourcing office to achieve common goals.
  • Provide leadership based on experience and skills including Process trainings, creating best practice templates for the teams to ensure the consistency in the process knowledge.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them achieve their professional goals.
  • Build Strong relationships with team members, fostering a sense of belonging , trust and loyalty.
  • Monitor team morale and engagement levels, proactively addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Ability to lead by example and embody the values and culture of the organization
  • Experience in providing leadership support across multiple time zones with strong understanding of Global Operations and timely communication
  • A successful candidate would be required to play the role of a change catalyst to drive efficiency and maximized commercial value while balancing global processes and local requirements/nuances.

    • Experience:

  • + years of total work experience, with + years of management experience, preferred. Demonstrated experience managing and leading large, complex projects, extensive knowledge and understanding of global procurement and sourcing processes and practices preferred. Demonstrated experience negotiating successful results, managing global spend preferred.

    • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
