Job Summary:

Our school is seeking a full-time Social Studies Master Teacher to join us. You will be responsible for contributing and developing social studies course objectives. In addition, you should be able to gather learning materials and create lesson plans. You should also be able to review and discuss pupils' progress at parent-teacher meetings.

As a Social Studies Teacher, you should be able to create a positive learning environment. Moreover, you should also be able to help students prepare for debates and other extracurricular activities. You should also be able to plan and accompany pupils on field trips to various sites.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gathering learning materials, and resources and preparing lesson plans
  • Setting and achieving curriculum objectives
  • Analyzing and helping students work on their strengths and weaknesses
  • Reviewing and evaluating students' progress
  • Attending parentsteacher meetings and discussing the student's growth
  • Establishing a positive classroom learning environment
  • Ensuring that the students have the appropriate learning aids and textbooks
  • Organizing and accompanying students on field trips
  • Attending staff meetings and participating in various training programs
  • Helping students prepare for debates or any other extracurricular activities
  • Maintaining an accurate record of students' grades
  • Assigning students projects and other internal assessment activities
  • Keeping uptodate with current events and happenings

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Empathic and good listener
  • Ability to stand for long hours
  • Highly motivated, creative, and detailoriented individual

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM


Working Days: 5.5 (Alternative Saturdays off)


Salary:
₹20, ₹35,000.00 per month


Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
  • Making lesson plans: 1 year (preferred)
