Description

Installation, configuration and deployment of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1 and R12.2 versions.

Work with developers and users to migrate objects and code between non production databases.
Good working experience & understanding of Weblogic Applications R1
Have a good understanding of ONLINE patching in Oracle EBS
Responsible for cloning nonproduction EBS instances.
Troubleshoot and help resolve Oracle Workflow issues.
Effective troubleshooting of EBS and database performance issues.
Design and build databases, schemas, stored procedures, and other database objects.
Set up routine database backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures.
Perform database recoveries.
Assist developers and endusers with database usage, query development, and tuning.
Develop operating system scripts to automate backups, data transfers, monitoring, etc.
Design and implement database security schemas.
Provides direction to less senior DBA's.

Assists associate and intermediate DBAs with complex database tasks. - Position will involve the database portion of various projects ranging from

Project teams will be composed of multi-disciplinary teams including business analysts, systems analysts, programmers, and client users.

Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database administration.
Have a good working experience in Oracle Core DBA Architecture, Backups/Recovery and Performance tuning exercise
Experience in Coordinating and working with Clients to understand the business requirement and design the architecture accordingly, resolve issues if any.

QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge

Must have extensive knowledge ORACLE EBS R1
Must have extensive knowledge of Oracle RDBMS.
Must have extensive knowledge of administering Oracle databases in a UNIX or LINUX environment.
UNIX/LINUX scripting knowledge is important.
Thorough knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL will be addon
Knowledge of logical, physical, and datawarehouse modeling is desired. Skills
Must have strong team bonding skills
Extensive experience performing RDBMS software installation, database creation, database sizing, establishment of backup and recovery procedures and scripts, database performance tuning.
