Visual Merchandiser

Your Responsibilities:


  • Standardization of visual presentation of Merchandise, Placement of fixtures as per the planogram, Planning a display calendar and Management of Visual's & Signage's to drive profitable sales.
  • Creating a Training module on visual merchandising & merchandise display. Training Managers & Retail Staff on importance of VM Display & effective solutions to upsell & cross sell through Displays.
  • Responsible for new store opening setup, Merchandise Display, Coordination of Layout Planning with Head office, Merchandise Zoning, Merchandise ordering, Sampling of material specification according to Concept, Ordering of all peripherals required, Artwork for Store Visuals & Signage's.
  • Adhering to set concepts by H/O for new launches & channelizing the same for window displays in correspondence to new launches/events/promotions etc. Designing & execution of Window displays for all formats
  • Assisting Advertising & Promotions Department with graphic design for POS material, Catalogues etc.
  • Conceptualizing Design and Execution of Focal Points, Ensuring focal Points as per the store layout, Preparing merchandise planograms keeping in mind customer shopping habits for effective Displays.
  • Planning, Conceptualizing design & executing VM for events and Liaison with Marketing for in store communication & events.
  • Preparing Purchase Order's/Work order's, 100% compliance to set finance processes by the company, Cost monitoring for VM & Advertising/Promotions ensuring spends are within budgets, Maintenance of VM Peripherals and Documentation of VM activities and budgets.
  • Sourcing of Vendors for VM/A&P elements, Out sourcing VM design execution/Installation.
  • Planning & Organizing, Technical Knowledge, Creativity, Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Monitoring & Controlling, Networking, Commercial Awareness, Budgeting and Negotiation.

Your ideal profile:


  • Experience of software Adobe Illustrator, CDR
  • Fashion or Lifestyle background
  • NIFT / school of arts
  • Knowledge of gandoolas, fixtures, waterfall etc.
