- Carry out task and the responsibility in the areas of monthly group closing activities and review journal voucher at every month end
- Providing accounting and process guidance to various stakeholders like business divisions, controllers, shared service center, etc
- Support Business Divisions & corporates controllers for monthly forecasting & budgeting
- Support in various UAT for ERP changes or other associated tools
- Preparation of Local Financial Statements as per IndAS & support in Tax audits with Big4 as auditors
- Co-ordinate & collaborate with share service center, Business & other corporate teams specially for statutory audits & special topics
- Carry out task and the responsibility in the areas of monthly closing activities and review journal voucher at month end
- Handling accounting & reporting queries from Business Divisions for topics like New order, revenue recognition, derivatives, etc
- Balance sheet and P&L reviews to ensure the quality of books & records
- Perform financial statement reviews and follow-up action items as a result of the review
- Support ad-hoc requirement/task ( Global projects, digitalization initiatives, Hub process harmonisations, trainings, etc)
- Professional qualification of Chartered Accountant is required.
- Working experience of 2-4 years post qualification in accounting & finance. Experience with MNC manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Solid knowledge and experience in accounting for construction contracts, forex accounting, provisions and accrual
- Well versed with IFRS & IndAS standards, rules and regulations.
- Basic knowledge of SAP FICO module in SAP. Knowledge of MM & FA module is an advantage.
- Able to work independently, self-motivated, possess analytical skills and ability to adapt to changes
- Lead the team in providing solutions and also advice business divisions on accounting matters.
- Familiarity with Finance processes ( financial closing, reporting, budgeting, forecasting) and systems ( SAP Business Warehouse, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, Alteryx)
- Someone who thrives in an international environment and possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing
