Production Planning and Scheduling:


  • Develop daily and weekly production schedules based on customer orders and production targets.
  • Coordinate with the production planning team to ensure optimal utilization of resources and timely delivery of products.

Team Leadership and Supervision:


  • Lead and supervise a team of production workers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote productivity and morale.

Quality Control:


  • Monitor and enforce quality control measures throughout the production process.
  • Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance:


  • Oversee the proper operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance and repairs as needed to minimize downtime.

Inventory Management:


  • Collaborate with the inventory control team to manage raw materials, workinprogress, and finished goods inventory levels.
  • Implement strategies to reduce waste and optimize material usage.

Safety Compliance:


  • Enforce and promote a safetyfirst culture within the production team.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings, audits, and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and other efficiency measures to enhance overall production performance.

Communication:


  • Communicate effectively with other departments such as sales, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure seamless coordination and information flow.
  • Report production metrics and key performance indicators to management.
