Your Tasks:


  • Manages the Operation Quality team in the plant
  • Supports Plant QRQC activity, led by Production (Plant Manager and Segment managers)
  • Analyzes and Implements Customer Specific Requirement (in connection with L26System, Audits & Methods)
  • Prepares, Plans, Allocates, Monitors achievement of Budget/Costs
  • Works with the country organization to deploy the LEONI Quality strategy
  • Ensures compliance with IATF 16949, VDA6.3 and the LEONI Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Ensures management and archiving of documents and data Validation and optimization of quality standards
  • Validates corrective actions of non conformity of products and audits
  • Audits Followup: ensure the followup and the realization of internal and external audits
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of corrective actions and preventive actions
  • Is responsible for the complete perimeter for 1 customer (WPA to final assembly)
  • Is the customer representative at location and in case of complaints will represent Country Quality in customer escalation meetings and customer visits
  • As Product Safety Officer, is responsible to guarantee products under security or regulatory status (detailed Tasks see VA 3163).
  • Has the authority to stop production lines and delivery of products in case of nonconformities (or potential nonconformities) and will release them after implementing correction actions (immediate, corrective and preventive).
  • Decides and supervises all the sorting activities (sorting, Firewall) to protect the customer and ensure the followup of Quality Costs.
  • Manages transversally the resolution of quality problems escalated by the production facilities (and other countries) and/or detected by customers (Recurring incidents, Warranty return, Reds alerts) and ensures the transversalization of solutions across all production facilities
  • Coordinates warranty part analyses and, if necessary, requests support to other functions (Dvpt., Laboratory, Project) and followsup cost of warranty returns at Country level
  • Reports Quality Results (KPI) to Country and to WSD management
  • Is responsible to release production equipment
  • Prepares Quality Concept (which is part of Production concept) during RFQs and during development phases
  • Updates risk assessment permanently during Development phases, and secures that actions are identified, implemented to reduce the risks
  • Collects Q-KPI's in "industrialization phase" and initiate corrective actions if necessary
  • Releases APQP and PPAP documentations together with project team
  • Fulfills Q-Tasks to prepare Initial samples acceptance & Process Release
  • Checks that management of design change by D&D and Industr. Project (product, process, components, production transfer) respects quality standards during Serial Life (LEONI and customer)
  • Is responsible to approve (or reject) deviations requested by other dpts.
  • Requests Q-TaskForce to production Facility in case of major Q-Problems to support with tools, methods and knowhow
  • Operation Quality Manager is responsible to lead the Operation Quality team dedicated to customers and located in facilities
  • Provides analysis and action for customer satisfaction to Central QM & SHE

Your Skills:

Level of Education: Engineer or equivalent

Studies/ branch of study/degree: Scientific field or similar

Work experience: Experience of 3 years in a leader position in the automotive industry is mandatory.
