About the CROCI Team
CROCI, acronym for Cash Return on Capital Invested, is part of DWS Investment division. The team was set up in 1996 in London as a research service to institutional clients.

CROCI is an investment research discipline that makes in-depth adjustments to companies' financial statements to make their valuation metric (CROCI Economic P/E) comparable across sectors and markets.

In 2004, the team launched investible Index based products that allowed exposure to underlying investment philosophy. There are CROCI products (Index/Strategies) under various wrappers with underlying assets under management more than €6 billion. The CROCI team members are based out of Mumbai, London, Paris, and New York.

Your key responsibilities
CROCI Investment products are rebalanced on a systematic basis based on underlying Index methodology.

Supporting rebalancing the strategies which includes carefully analyzing constituents; ensure underlying signals are appropriate and strategy rules have been consistently applied etc.
Tracking performance of CROCI strategies against benchmarks and against peer groups, measure and analyze performance return attribution, and provide analytics and write commentary on macro and product specific performance.
Involved in backtesting and ideation of new CROCI strategies and customized client mandates.
Support regular creation of marketing materials and standard reporting.

Your skills and experience

Bachelors/ Masters or international equivalent degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or any other quantitative discipline.
Must be proficient in Python programming and have handson experience with essential Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
Should be familiar with web services and have experience working with APIs.
Knowledge of Java, C#/.NET, JavaScript is a plus.
Advanced Proficiency in MS-Office

- particularly with Excel and VBA, PowerPoint

Prior experience of Index / Portfolio building strategies. Understanding of portfolio returns analysis and risk measures. Understanding of equity markets and drivers of equity valuation.
Ability to discuss at eye level with senior business stakeholders.
Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and proven track record operating in a fastpaced environment.
Intellectual curiosity and initiative combined with professional and personal integrity.
