Job Summary:
The Interior Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the interior construction projects within the plywood manufacturing plant. This role involves managing the construction team, ensuring project deadlines are met, maintaining safety standards, and delivering high-quality results.

The Interior Construction Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that the interior construction processes align with the company's standards and project requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Supervision:


  • Oversee and manage all aspects of interior construction projects within the plywood manufacturing plant.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to develop project schedules and work plans.

Team Management:


  • Supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in interior construction activities.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure they are adequately trained and equipped.
  • Monitor team performance and provide guidance and support as needed.

Quality Control:


  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Address any issues or discrepancies promptly to maintain highquality construction standards.
  • Ensure proper use of materials and adherence to design specifications.

Safety Compliance:


  • Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for construction personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Coordination and Communication:


  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and progress to the Project Manager and other relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruptions to plant operations during construction activities.

Resource Management:


  • Manage the procurement and inventory of construction materials and equipment.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and control project expenses, providing reports and updates as required.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project status, safety incidents, and quality control issues.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed and filed according to company standards.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications may be considered.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior construction supervision, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints.
