Responsibilities:


  • Manage daytoday accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales, production, and procurement, to gather financial data and support business operations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews of financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Assist in financial planning and analysis activities, including cash flow management, investment analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Provide support to senior management and external stakeholders by preparing financial reports, presentations, and adhoc analysis as required.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the plywood or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
