    Position: Advanced Analyst

    Role: Financial Crime Operations - Advanced Analyst

    The Compliance team at EY GDS collaborates with other EY offices worldwide to deliver a range of compliance solutions to clients. Working on both short and long-term projects, the team assists in establishing, maintaining, and evaluating business functions and compliance programs.

    The Opportunity

    As a member of our Global Managed Services Delivery team, you will engage with EY offices globally to provide compliance solutions to clients. The team focuses on short to long-term projects to help establish, maintain, and review business functions and compliance outputs. The Financial Crime Consulting team, comprising numerous professionals, advises and drives transformation for banking, capital markets, insurance, and asset management clients in Financial Crime, specializing in areas such as:

    • Customer screening
    • Payment screening filtering for Sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media
    • KYC Remediation
    • Anti-money laundering transaction monitoring
    • Look-back reviews and loan file reviews
    • Compliance testing and FATCA
    • Financial crime risk assessment reviews

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage multiple tasks, learn on the job, and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
    • Create process documentation and simplify complex processes into easy-to-follow instructions
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed
    • Work as part of a team to ensure operational readiness of applications and processes for AML program requirements
    • Demonstrate integrity, respect, and effective collaboration with team members
    • Take ownership and initiative to enhance existing practices
    • Provide exceptional client service

    Skills and Attributes for Success

    • Effective time management skills to handle deadlines efficiently
    • Show analytical skills, attention to detail, and logical thinking

    To qualify for the role

    • 1-3 years of experience in AML – KYC, Sanction Screening, transaction monitoring, or regulatory reporting
    • MBA with a focus on Risk, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related financial fields
    • Thorough understanding of the banking industry and its products/services
    • Strong presentation skills and proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
    • Ability to work independently under pressure and collaboratively in a team environment
    • Willingness to work shifts if necessary
    • Required to work from the office
    • Availability to work on Indian Holidays as needed
    • Subject Matter Expert (SME) skills to mentor AML analysts
    • Readiness to travel nationally and internationally
