The Opportunity


As a member of the Data Solutions Product Development team, the successful applicant will join a leading, entrepreneurial and collegial team within the Data Solutions business that is responsible for the development of data products across all asset classes and financial instruments.

You will:

  • Work on some of the most complex problems imaginable at the intersection of two dynamic industries: finance and technology,
  • Be part of a new business initiative within JPM that will create a significant revenue stream for the firm and influence the commercialization and gotomarket strategy of the service,
  • Partner closely with our clients to understand their needs in order to shape the product roadmap, execute on the strategy and deliver key product features meeting client needs,
  • Build digital and data capabilities in the product personalised for both internal and external clients
  • Interact with other highperforming teams within JPM to inspire innovation and champion change throughout the bank,
  • Work closely with our UX and product partners to deliver high quality software with commercial value and amazing user experience,

Responsibilities

  • Product Development : Developing/improving products for clients and have a direct impact on revenue, product growth and engagement. Partner with stakeholders to enhance our data and data analysis offering,
  • Client Adoption/Engagement : Work with clients on increasing product adoption and engagement working across digital, data and associated analytical results,
  • Measuring success: Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of products. Use datadriven approach for building the product strategy and roadmap.

Required skills/experience:


  • Substantial previous relevant experience in the financial services environment with understanding of Agile delivery, Product management, Digital data experience.
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets sectors, especially fixed income.
  • Degree level from a Technology orientated discipline with MBA advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience in the digital product landscape, working with Technology, Client experience and Design teams and other crossfunctional teams to deliver products.
  • A track record in product design / product management and in launching products to end users (B2B / B2C) that made an impact on the business goals.
  • Experience in building enterprise software for scale. Solid grasp of software architecture, API, data stores, data lakes and modern technology stack
  • Structured and analytical approach on data driven product management.
  • Possess key influential and partnership skills with the ability to drive the business goals forward.
  • Commerciallyfocused and entrepreneurial.
  • Close attention to detail and ability to work to very high standard and a quick learner.
Strong work ethic and self-starter, confident in working independently.
