  • Job descriptionKorn Ferry is looking for a UX Designer to join their inhouse Global UX practice to build our next generation suite of webbased products. Key responsibilities will include gathering and consuming requirements from Product Owners, defining personas, creating workflows and user journeys that outline each user's path through the product or feature and translating those into interactive wireframes for validation with stakeholders and customers through user testing.


This role requires a self-starter, with strong communication skills, who enjoys collaboration across disciplines and who is passionate about usability and the user centered design process.


Preferred Experience:


  • 47+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer or Information Architect.
  • BA/BS/MS Degree in a related field: Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Graphic Design, Usability, Human Factors, Information Science or Computer Science
  • Strong background working with tools such as Figma, Adobe suite, and Azure.
  • Proficient in the User Experience processes, design patterns and methodologies, to allow for rapid design iterations
  • Experience working in an agile/lean UX environment with an understanding of iterative, customer centric of product development
  • Passion for UX methodologies like Human factors, User Centered design, and usability techniques, with knowledge of Accessibility a plus.
  • Software/product design experience required on both desktop and mobile cloud based and SAAS based products.

Required Skills:


  • Ability to gather and interpret requirements complex business requirements from disparate teams of individuals and seamlessly drive these through the user centered design process.
  • Ability to build comprehensive personas, journeys, workflows, and wireframes to define critical features and functionalities.
  • Ability to create responsive wireframes and to think strategically in a mobile atmosphere.
  • Stays current with design trends, themes, best practices and technologies in user interface and experience design.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to think through and solve for multiple use cases and scenarios
  • Good presentation skills with the ability to articulate, rationalize and communicate your designs to teammates, developers and stakeholders.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and ability to easily manage multiple ongoing projects.
  • Ability to contribute to user research, including identifying the research objectives, collaborating on screener questions, user testing scripts, market research and working with the team to source the users.
  • Ability to implement findings from research or testing
  • Ability to create interactive prototypes, with an understanding of Axure's functionality.

Work Samples Needed:
Portfolio of UX and Product Design deliverables is a must for consideration
