Executive


Responsibilities:


  • Consistently inspect the quality of cleaning and upkeep maintained by the staff and accordingly offer guidance to the housekeeping supervisors to achieve best results as per the standard operating procedures
  • Frequently liaises with superior's to review the results of systems followed as per the mall specifications
  • Responsible to help in recruiting the ideal staff to be a part of a motivated team by accordingly retaining and imparting training as per their job specification
  • Familiarize all staff concerned regarding safety, security and fire hazards limited to housekeeping
  • Prepare an exigency plan limited to housekeeping for force Majeure like flood, bomb threat, etc.
  • Solely responsible to maintain cleanliness, hygiene and proper sanitation within the common areas of the mall premises
  • Should possess the ability to obtain a good output from staff without compromising on quality especially during natural calamities, short staffing
  • Periodically generate weekly/monthly reports and timely submit the same to the superiors along with the monthly inventory of materials and machinery used for the upkeep of the mall
  • Regularly coordinates and closely monitors all maintenance requisitions pending and accordingly followsup on the same to ensure the mall is conducive and does not deteriorate at any stage
  • Systematically prepare schedules related to daily /specialized cleaning, pest control, façade cleaning, horticulture and ensure it is successfully carried out by the outsourced contractual staff
  • Coordinate with the concerned vendor to periodically review staff performance and initiate disciplinary action accordingly
  • Emphasize on the importance of staff inculcating proper work ethics by maintaining grooming and courtesy service standards to exceed customer's expectation
  • Prepare capital expenditure, special repair and maintenance as per the mall requirement
  • Control the over head expenses and works well within the monthly budget by ensuring staff are accountable for all material wastage
  • Periodically generate monthly reports on preventive maintenance and analysis of loss/ usage per area on every major expense category including but not limited to labor, chemicals, supplies, contract cleaning and other related housekeeping service
  • To offer recommendations to improve work culture in the department
  • Help safeguard the mall assets by implementing control procedures for supplies, equipment, and other items
  • Build and maintain a healthy vendor relationship
  • Process all bills received and comply as per the laid down norms
  • Implement and comply corporate directives limited with Housekeeping

Requirements:


  • Graduate with atleast 4 years of experience in housekeeping or soft services in large commercial or retail property
  • Relevant experience in hospitality industry can be considered
  • Should have managed large teams
  • Experience in vendor management and outsourced staff
  • Should be a team player with good interpersonal skills
