Position Overview:

A Medical Doctor with 2-3 years of experience is a seasoned healthcare professional who has completed their MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) degree and gained valuable clinical experience through practice and residency.

They play a crucial role in diagnosing illnesses, providing medical care, and managing patients' health conditions across various settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care and Consultation:
Conduct comprehensive medical consultations, including historytaking, physical examinations, and assessment of symptoms.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, imaging studies, and other relevant investigations.
Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment plans based on evidencebased medicine and clinical guidelines.
Treatment and Intervention:
Prescribe medications, therapies, and interventions to manage acute and chronic illnesses effectively.
Perform minor medical procedures, such as wound care, suturing, and administering injections, as required.
Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment regimens, and provide followup care to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, therapists, and pharmacists, to coordinate patient care.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and patient rounds to review treatment plans and facilitate holistic care delivery.
Consult with colleagues and seek second opinions when dealing with complex medical cases or treatment dilemmas.
Patient Education and Counseling:
Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Provide counseling on lifestyle modifications, diet, exercise, medication adherence, and disease management strategies.
Empower patients to actively participate in their healthcare decisions and advocate for their wellbeing.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, diagnostic results, and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding medical documentation, confidentiality, and informed consent.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology tools efficiently for documentation and communication.
Continuous Learning and Professional Development:
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in medical knowledge, treatments, and technologies through continuing medical education (CME) activities.
Pursue opportunities for professional development, such as attending conferences, workshops, and specialized training programs.
Engage in selfassessment and reflection to identify areas for improvement and enhance clinical skills and competence.

Qualifications and Skills:

MBBS degree from a recognized medical school or university.
Completion of internship and residency training in a relevant clinical specialty.
Valid medical license or registration to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction.
23 years of postqualification experience in clinical practice, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and evidencebased treatment planning.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain medical concepts to patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Empathy, compassion, and a patientcentered approach to healthcare delivery.
