Account Executive
Join us as an Account Executive in our Finance team at our Gurgaon office and seize the opportunity to excel in your career while making a significant impact on our mission to empower the retail industry in India.
What You'll Achieve:
You Will:
- Process and record invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure correct coding to the general ledger.
- Prepare and post journal entries ensuring all business transactions are recorded.
- Maintain and update financial records and perform monthend closing activities.
- Utilize Tally, Busy, and QuickBooks for daily accounting operations.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the accounting systems.
- Good command in Excel like Vlookup, Sumif, Count If, Pivot
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of TDS returns.
- Ensure GST compliance and assist with GST return preparation and filing.
- Maintain organized financial records and support documentation for all transactions.
- Generate financial reports as required by the management.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding invoice queries and payment status.
- Assist in managing vendor accounts and resolving discrepancies.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Tally, Busy, and QuickBooks.
- Excellent command of accounting journal entries and financial recordkeeping.
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation, TDS provisions, and GST compliance.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge of retail ERP.
- Accounting and Invoicing experience of 1+ year.
