We seek a talented and dynamic _
_Economist __with relevant experience to join our growing team and work collaboratively with the Regional Strategic Consulting Teams. _

Responsibilities:

Jacobs have wellestablished strategic advisory capabilities and extensive experience working collaboratively with government agencies and private businesses to solve complex problems.
The primary function of this role will be working closely with these regional consulting teams to support the delivery of projects which includes:
Providing robust economic analysis to clients to support development and investment decisions.
Providing economic and business advisory support to infrastructure projects in a range of markets for example Transport & Water infrastructure and regions
Opportunities to be engaged in Climate change resilience and social value economic analysis.
Supporting growth of the Economics and Finances Practice through focus on quality and fostering strong working relationships.
Providing up to date technical insights; establishing and maintaining relationships to identify, pursuing and winning new work opportunities; and working as part of the multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project delivery.
You will support Jacobs to ensure it can thrive in a global setting, encouraging crossgeography relationship building and work sharing to maximise the benefit of global delivery to our clients and our people.

Here's What You'll Need:

A relevant degree with more than 5 years of experience in Economic Analysis and Assessment.
Knowledge of: Business Economics; Applied Microeconomics; Cost Benefit Analysis; Urban Economics, Economic Impact Assessments; Financial Modelling; Economic Appraisal.
Strong analytical and structured thinking, exposure to team work as well as global stakeholder engagement.
Strong research & analysis ability supplemented with excellent report writing capabilities.
Skills in Microsoft Excel based Data analysis and Modelling skills.
Providing high quality written reports and analysis.
Effective communication including presentation and interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with people at all levels professionally.
