Position Overview:
The Security Guard for a corporate office is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets within the corporate office premises.
This role involves monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting security checks, responding to emergencies, and providing excellent customer service while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Access Control:
Monitor and control access points to the corporate office premises.
Verify the identity of employees, visitors, and contractors entering the building.
Enforce company policies regarding visitor registration and employee identification.
Surveillance and Monitoring:
Continuously monitor security cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities or potential security breaches.
Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate actions.
Patrol and Inspection:
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure all areas are secure and free from unauthorized personnel.
Inspect doors, windows, and other access points to identify and address any vulnerabilities.
Emergency Response:
Act as the first point of contact in the event of emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, or security threats.
Follow established protocols to manage emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities if necessary.Customer Service:
Greet employees, visitors, and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide directions and assistance to visitors, including guiding them to their destinations within the office.
Incident Reporting:
Document all incidents, activities, and interactions in detailed reports.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, security checks, and incidents.
Security Protocols and Procedures:
Adhere to company security policies and procedures.
Stay updated on security trends and best practices to ensure the effectiveness of security measures.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure proper functioning of security equipment such as cameras, alarms, and communication devices.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other security team members and relevant departments to maintain a coordinated security approach.
Provide support during special events or situations that require additional security measures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or training preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Knowledge of basic security procedures and protocols.
- Ability to use security equipment, such as cameras and alarm systems.
- Physical fitness to perform regular patrols and respond to emergencies.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Problemsolving skills to address security issues effectively.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
₹6, ₹7,500.00 per month
