EN-DR-90: Interiors Mechanical Engineer (COEI)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible for engineering the interiors parts of passenger trains in compliance with our Interiors QCD commitments.

Reports to: Interiors Engineering Group Leader

Performance Measurement

Design Reviews completed on-time
Issues opened/closed during Design Reviews
Timely completion of GO tooling
3D freeze achieved on time
Documentation delivered on time in full
Number of modifications post 3D freeze
2D freeze compliance with Alstom standards
Engineering hours spent versus budget
Adherence to rules for CATIA File/DMA

Responsibilities

Design and create interiors parts of trains using Catia V5 and DMA
Implement CoE Interior development procedures and standards
Optimize parts design to meet cost targets and deadlines
Collaborate with external contractors and CAD engineers
Ensure digital mock-up consistency
Prepare design review elements with Lead Engineer support
Conduct stack-up analysis
Ensure detailed BoM consistency

Educational Requirements & Experience

Engineering degree
Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical parts design

Competencies & Skills

Proficient in CATIA V5
Preferably familiar with DMA
Fluent in English
